>>> What does Tsuzuku Jinsei o stand for?
"Life continues on."
>>> Where did you come up with that name?
We were scrapped for a name for our group. Myth suggested someone's favorite line from a song. Tsuki was the only one to name one, but the rest liked it, and thus we became TJo.
>>> So what song was it?
"We Are," from Slayers Next. It's Zelgadis' image song.
>>> OK, so as I was browsing your manga selection, I noticed you advertise having 17 projects, but no matter how many times I count, I only can find 16. Can't you guys count? Or are you hiding projects?
Yes, we can count, and No, we aren't. It's a bit of a superstition on our behalf. Listen closely as it's a slightly long explanation. If you've been a TJo leecher since our first anniversary, you may remember us advertising that we were going to do Ahiru no Ouji-sama as our fourth project. Interestingly enough, it got licensed by ADV manga, so we were forced to drop it. So, as not to let it get us down, we decided on another series to replace AnO. This series was R^2, and was to be a joint project with Snoopycool. Weren't we surprised to see soon after we finished the first script, that it was advertised on Viz's page for licensing (although now it seems that ADV has licensed it instead)! "Well, we'll just have to choose another project," we thought, and promptly chose Pastel. Nope, another group started doing it. So much for that one. "Well," we grumbled amongst ourselves, "How about Puchimon? We'll do that as our joint." Nope, Aku-tenshi started on it and we decided to drop it so as not to anger them. We were starting to think that the 4th project was cursed. Myth suggested that the number 4 was bad luck, and then Snoopy pieced it together: The number '4' in Japanese is pronounced two ways, yon and shi. Shi also means "death." Therefore, the 4th project has been doomed to "die" from the start. Once we realized that, we made sure to call the latest project, Kagetora, our fifth project, and we've had no more problems since. lol.
>>> How come your site keeps going down and all I get is "Der Zugriff auf diese Website ist vorübergehend blockiert?"
For those who do not know, TJo is hosted on a German server, so of course our errors will be in German ^^". It means "Access to this website is temporarily blocked," and it appears when the site goes down because we have exceeded our monthly 30 GB bandwidth.
>>> Oh. So when will the site be back up?
~_~ If everything goes right, the site will be back up on the 22nd (this is when our next billing month begins, and therefore we get 30 GB of bandwidth to use again).
>>> Can't you get it back up sooner?
Only if we get enough donations to pay for more bandwidth. If you want to donate, use the paypal link on the main page. >.> Please donate....
>>> I love your manga! I want to edit/translate/scan it! Can I?
Maybe. Several of our staff are quite... possessive... and won't let anyone else touch their projects, but that doens't mean that there isn't any free manga (and we might pick up a new project if it really grabs our fancy or if we have staff who really want to do it). However, keep in mind that you have to be able to edit/translate/scan, and do a good job at it, which is why we have our own little edit test page and a translation test pages for those who'd like apply:
--The translation pages can be found here and here. If you are the ambitious type and don't mind translating manga without furigana, why not give these two pages a try instead? Please send us the finished scripts; sfx are optional.
--The zip containing the editing test page (and wildwords font) can be found in our channel (#TJO@irc.irchighway.net). PM TsukiGoKim or {kanna} for her to send it to you. If you can't use IRC, e-mail us and ask for us to send you the page.
--As for scanners, please send us 2 or 3 example pages (please include one 2-page spread).
Email your submissions to tsuzukujinsei@yahoo.ca and Please Mark Your E-mail Submissions Clearly as we don't want to mistake them as virii-laden spam and delete them (we get much virii-laden spam).
>>> How come I can't download the editor's test from the website?
We aren't putting the editor's test up on the site because it's over 14 MB in size, and we're already scrapped for bandwidth as it is. And as for why it's so large, it's because it's been scanned quite messily, that's why.
>>> Any suggestions for a scanner?
Tsuki uses a refurbished HP Scanjet 4400c (which has been discontinued -_-", but that might be for the best as you can't clean underneath the glass....), and Ezra uses a Canon d646u. No word yet as to what Locke uses. We scan our manga at 300 dpi, and we use both debound and pressed manga (Naked and Kagetora are our only manga so far that have been debound -- Akkan Baby is being debound from vol 2+).
>>> What does SAQ stand for?
Seldomly Asked Questions.
>>> Is Taru single? *.*
Why yes he is! He's looking for some love, so girls (guys need not apply, sorry), please don't hold back! If you'd like to send him love letters, use his e-mail listed on the staff page.
>>> I made a wallpaper/winamp skin/something nifty that's related to your manga and I want to share it with everyone. Can you put it on your site?
Sure, we'd love it if you'd share it with us! Just e-mail us your wallpaper/skin/nifty thing to us (please make sure the e-mail subject clearly states what it is you're sending us) and we'll put it up.
(Regarding wallpaper credits: if you want to add your name and e-mail on the wallpaper, that's fine with us, but we're not responsible for adding them for you or adding them on the extras page.)
>>> Our group would like to translate your manga into French/German/Swahili/Binary. Can we?
Generally we don't have any complaints about this so long as we're given proper credit, but we would still appreciate it if you e-mail us or ask us on the forum first.
>>> Can you do my homework?
No. Wait, on second thought, no.
>>> How can I set up an fserve to share your manga?
Morningmusumue.us has a very easy-to-follow guide that we reccomend. They have step-by-step illustrated instructions for setting up an fserve, TDCC, or XDCC: http://www.morningmusume.us/fserve_help.html
>>> Where do you get those awesome smilies?????
http://www.mysmilies.com
>>> Can I hug Seki?
Yes, but he might bite if he feels overwhelmed. He likes being scratched behind the ears.
>>> What's Ookami's favorite food?
Beggin' Strips.

OK, so many of you (if not the majority), have heard of and have probably played Triple Triad, which is the
card game in Final Fantasy VIII. But how many of you have heard of Triple Triad Advance (http://www.ttadvance.com/)?
Triple Triad Advance is a site dedicated to playing
Triple Triad online -- it's free, it's fun, and you can make your own cards. And that is exactly what Freak-a-Tron did.
Freak-a-Tron has made several custom TTA cards featuring characters from TJo manga, and has asked us to share them
with the rest of our fans, which we are all too glad to do. Thing is, Freak's cards don't really follow TTA's regulations number-wise, so at the moment, these cards can't be used at TTA... however, this doesn't
mean that that we can't share them.. think of them as small collectibles for Final fantasy and TJo manga fans ^^"
